Given its close proximity to Disney World, many guests that travel to the Resort by air pass through Orlando International Airport.

Despite recent warnings from the CDC advising against holiday travel, the airport is expecting a large influx of passengers today.
According to Click Orlando, Orlando International Airport is expecting 90,000 people to pass through the airport today, Sunday, January 3rd.

It is expected to be the busiest day for the airport this holiday season, with nearly 45,000 projected departing passengers.

The airport has implemented several new health and safety initiatives, including increased sanitation and crowd control measures. Prior to today, the airport’s busiest day of the holiday season was Sunday, December 27th, when over 44,000 passengers departed.
