There was SO much Disney+ content announced at Disney’s Investor Day this past week.

We’re talking about the return of Hayden Christensen to the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, an update on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and brand new Disney Princess shows. However, sometimes production doesn’t go as expected amidst the current health crisis.

According to Deadline, Big Shot‘s filming has been suspended for Disney+ as a person on set has tested positive for COVID. The affected individual was in Zone 1 on set, and the people who were in close proximity were asked to quarantine for two weeks.

Disney followed protocols with testing measures as the person tested negative multiple times earlier in the week, but tested positive on Thursday at around 10PM after the series wrapped production for the day. The production members who showed up for work on Friday were tested, sent home, and paid for the day.

At this time, Big Shot will be halting its filming through the rest of 2020. However, production will resume in January with only one scene left to shoot from the second-to-last episode and season finale. We’ll be sure to update you with any other details we have about the production or other Disney+ shows!
