Give Kids The World is a non-profit organization based in Kissimmee, Florida. The famous charity provides critically ill children and their families a chance to visit Orlando theme parks at no cost to them.

The Give Kids The World Village has been transformed into Night of a Million Lights, a 89-acre walk-through spectacle featuring millions of Christmas lights (some even donated by Walt Disney World)!
The village temporarily closed in mid-March due to the global health crisis and delayed nearly 6,000 wishes for children. The proceeds from this holiday event will go towards future wishes once the village reopens. We were invited to check out the displays and holiday entertainment for the charity event!

The event officially begins on November 13th and continues through January 3rd. The village is usually closed to visitors and this walk-through gives guests a rare look at the non-profit resort. The nightly event runs from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily, with staggered entry times to prevent crowding. Masks are required for all guests.

The Night of a Million Lights map shows where each of the decorations and experiences are located, as well as a bingo game that guests can participate in!

While we were there, Jodi Benson (the voice of Ariel) helped kick off the event and ring in the holiday season! Plus, Mayor Clayton the Rabbit, Ms. Merry, and a glowing stilt walker were walking around to greet guests.

Holiday displays and lights decorated the village, including a huge lighted tunnel along the Avenue of Angels with a gingerbread arch!

Each family villa has been sponsored and decorated by some of the Give Kids the World sponsors from Central Florida. This includes Chick-fil-A…

…Fun Spot America theme parks…

…Ripley’s Believe It or Not!…

…SeaWorld, LEGOLAND, the Kennedy Space Center, Hasbro, Margaritaville Hotels and Resorts, and so many more!

Plus, Universal Orlando has lent their efforts in decorating Marc’s Dino Putt mini-golf course located on the village property. The course is decked out in lighting and holiday music gave a touch of Christmas atmosphere!

Tickets range from $25-$40 for adults and $15-$20 for kids, depending on the night you attend. Admission includes complimentary ice cream, hot cocoa, and access to the wheelchair-accessible rides located on the property.

Additional food items and merchandise are available for purchase as well with things like tees, hats, glow lights, hand sanitizer, and fun glasses to wear!

You can purchase tickets on the Give Kids The World website. If you’re looking for a fun family outing this holiday season, we highly recommend walking around the Night of a Million Lights to look at the decorations, play some games, and treat yourself to some snacks!

We can’t wait to head to theme parks and other places around the Orlando area to explore everything happening in the area! And, we’ll give you a look at the experiences you can have throughout Christmastime!
Take a trip to Disney Springs throughout the holiday season with these extended hours!
