Since reopening, the traditional parades and character meet-and-greets have been suspended at the Disney World parks. But luckily, guests are still able to see some of their favorite characters via the character cavalcades that take place at each of the parks!

Each of the four parks has its own set of character cavalcades that occur at unscheduled times throughout the day. That way, guests are able to see the characters in action without crowding around to wait for specific showtimes. And since the cavalcades are unique at each of the parks, we wanted to see which ones our readers prefer.
We asked our Facebook followers which parks had their favorite (or least favorite) cavalcades. Here’s what they said!
The Best!
Of the responses we received, the majority of people said that Magic Kingdom is home to their favorite character cavalcades. And we can definitely see why! Guests are able to catch a ton of different cavalcades at Magic Kingdom throughout the day, including Mickey and Friends, the Disney Princesses, Winnie the Pooh and Friends, and more.

Plus, we saw several seasonal Halloween cavalcades that included characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas, the Disney Villains, and classic characters in their Halloween costumes. So we weren’t surprised to see that Magic Kingdom ranks at the top of the list of character cavalcades for most people!

The Rest!
Following Magic Kingdom, several of our readers also gave a shout out to Disney’s Animal Kingdom as the park with their favorite cavalcades. In Animal Kingdom, the characters pass by on boats, which is a unique way to see them in action! It’s a flotilla!

Our readers love the fun interactions they’ve had with the Animal Kingdom cavalcades, and several people said they love how energetic the characters are!

And it looks like EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios tied for last place, because nobody mentioned either park as their favorite for cavalcades! Interestingly, several people mentioned the same issue for both parks — that they seemed to miss the cavalcades each time they came through.

One reader also mentioned that they saw the Disney Junior motorcade a few times in Hollywood Studios, but this is the only one they saw all day so it became monotonous.

Overall, it seems that Magic Kingdom is heavily favored as the park with the best character cavalcades. But Animal Kingdom definitely has a strong fan base as well. It looks like EPCOT and Hollywood Studios will need to step their cavalcade game up if they want to compete with the other two parks!
