Opinion time: the best part of Planet Hollywood at Disney Springs is Chicken Guy!, the chicken tender and sauce joint pioneered by Guy Fieri. Seriously, Planet Hollywood is okay I guess, but Chicken Guy! is a one way ticket to Flavortown.
That’s why we’re pleased to announce that Chicken Guy! is expanding its Disney Springs location, giving you even more space to spread out and get lost in the sauce.
Chicken Guy! is taking over the space formerly occupied by Planet Hollywood’s giftshop, swapping out T-Shirts and celebrity merchandise for tenders and donkey sauce.
If you were hoping to get some Planet Hollywood merchandise, it’s still available online. You can likely also find it in the Observatory, but we haven’t confirmed that yet because that would mean eating at Planet Hollywood.
Jokes aside, Planet Hollywood is still open and is still a fine choice for dining if you want to experience its unique atmosphere and offerings when you visit Disney Springs. But seriously, try the sauce.
