Starting on August 16, there will be a change of policy at Disneyland's Downtown Disney parking lots. There will no longer be two hours of free parking available. Instead, two hours of free parking will require a $20 minimum purchase at a single location and a validated parking ticket. Validation will be available from any Downtown Disney location including quick service restaurants and kiosks. Up to four hours of free parking is available with validation from the AMC Theatre or a Downtown Disney table service restaurant. Each additional hour will be $12, charged in 30-minute increments. There is an initial 15-minute grace period, with a minimum $6 charge after that. The daily maximum is $48 (up from $36.)
