Duffy Is FINALLY on a Disney Cruise Ship and It Is the BEST Thing EVER

Quincy and I have finally set sail on the brand-new Disney Adventure cruise ship, and we’re taking you along with us!

The Disney Adventure is the first Disney Cruise Line ship to sail out of Singapore and will sail throughout Southeast Asia. We made our way around the ship, checking out all there is to see and do — and what might be my FAVORITE part: all the Duffy experiences available on this cruise ship!

This is the FIRST Disney cruise ship to heavily feature Duffy the Disney Bear, and I’m SO excited for all the different Duffy activities and experiences we get to explore. Come with me to check it all out!

Duffy and the Friend Ship

This one-of-a-kind show takes place in the Disney Imagination Garden. It features original songs as Duffy and Friends embark on an imaginary voyage to explore the seas in a charming adventure.

Quincy and I LOVED THIS SHOW!! It was SO sweet — Duffy and his pals spoke English for the first time. It explores what the ocean means to each of the friends, as Duffy struggles to find what it means to him.

He and his friends all work together to build a ship — the Friend Ship! — and they decide he should be the captain and steer the boat. He’s unsure of himself at first, because he’s always traveled with Mickey at the helm — but his friends encourage him to take the wheel.

Oh, and did I mention there’s an entire Duffy and Friends store?!

Duffy and Friends Shop

Okay, I may or may not be freaking out because I was in HEAVEN here. All your Duffy and Friends merchandise needs can be found at this shop, and trust me, you’re gonna want to check it out. There is SO much Duffy merchandise to explore here, I could spend all day (and all my money!) just checking everything out.

This shop was POPULAR! Disney used a reservation system on the first day, but there was a standby queue for it after the first day. We went right when it opened at 10 AM, and it took us about 20 minutes to get into the shop.

Each character had their own section, and the theming was SO cute. It was definitely packed, though. LinaBell’s merchandise sold out the quickest, so don’t wait if you want to get your hands on some of these goodies! A lot of the merchandise was also available at the World of Disney shop on board, but not everything.

Clearly, I came home with a pretty good haul!

But that’s not where the Duffy fun stops!

Duffy and Friends Discovery Quest

This exciting quest takes you all around the entire ship by following clues to help Duffy and his friends find their missing things. You’ll even get a “special commemorative gift” when you help them find their items. This was an upcharge, but you get a cute prize at the end — so it was worth it for me.

You’ll follow clues to locate missing items for Duffy and his friends after buying a guide at the Duffy and Friends shop. Think of it like an EPCOT scavenger hunt, but better.

They all had clues to where their personal items were around the ship, so you could find them. The stickers were inside the little house, and the cutouts fit into the ship for a cute display as you hunted for clues. The gift at the end was a sailor hat for a Duffy Bear, which I found funny because they’re assuming everyone doing it owns a bear already (and they’re kinda right).
