REMINDER: The Grand Floridian Tea Room Will Reopen In Less Than 1 Week

We have been waiting for this day to come for FIVE YEARS, and now, we’re finally only five days away.

Garden View Tea Room

After the COVID-19 closures in 2020, while most experiences in the parks reopened within the next 6-20 months, there were a handful that didn’t return until years later. Believe it or not, there are still a handful now that STILL haven’t returned, but starting March 19th, one of the most anticipated ones is finally opening its doors once again!

Over at Disney’s Grand Floridian Hotel & Spa, the Garden View Lounge Tea Experience has long been missed by guests. We were beyond thrilled when it was announced in January that this beloved spot would finally be reopening, and even more excited when March 19th was the date set.

Reservations opened on February 19th and have, understandably, been hard to come by. We suggest attempting to book out 60 days in advance, but then continuing to try as your trip gets closer, because you never know when someone else may cancel their reservation, and one will become available!

Lots of different seating inside this space

This spot and experience have been reimagined with an Alice in Wonderland-themed menu, and there are now eight different teas to choose from.

  • Orangery of Lady Grey – Light and fragrant black tea with bright citrus notes of orange and bergamot. A refreshing twist on classic Earl Grey, inspired by sunlit English orangeries
  • Nutty Chocolate Flavoured Assam – Rich Assam black tea meets the flavours of smooth chocolate and roasted hazelnuts. A blend inspired by the timeless pairing of tea and chocolate
  • London Strand Breakfast – Bold and malty Assam black teas with golden-tipped leaves for richness and a full-bodied finish
  • Spicy Chai – A blend of African black tea and Rooibos with a blend of fragrant spices for a rich and delicious Chai
  • Exotic Mango & Ginger – A rich, fragrant blend of glorious mango and ginger layered over a base of green tea
  • Redbush Caramel Velvet – A vibrant copper-red herbal infusion made from South African redbush leaves. Flavoured with caramel and safflowers for a smooth, comforting cup
  • Lemongrass & Peppermint – Refreshing lemongrass blended with sweet peppermint, creating an upliftingly smooth herbal citrus infusion
  • Blackcurrant & Lavender – Rich and fragrant, this herbal blend delivers the essence of autumn: fiery golden leaves, vibrant holly berries, and fields of amber harvests
