An iconic ride at Disneyland is finally reopening this week!

Disneyland temporarily closes down “it’s a small world” for a short time to give it a retheme during the holiday season. After the holidays pass, the attraction closes again to return to its regular version. Well, the time is almost here for the ride to return!
“it’s a small world” closed to remove its holiday overlay on January 26th, with no set date for the ride to reopen. We’ve been occasionally checking for any updates, and now we noticed that hours are posted for the attraction starting on February 6th from 8 AM to 12 AM.

You’ll notice the times are showing on February 6th when you go to the Disneyland app or website, in comparison to no hours showing between today and February 5th.

February 6th won’t just see the return of “it’s a small world”, it will also be the date Soarin’ Over California returns! That’s right, the iconic attraction is coming back to Disney California Adventure at Disneyland Resort on February 6th, and it will run until July 1st.

What’s the occasion? Well, the ride is coming back for a limited time to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Disney California Adventure. Immediately after that ride overlay, the attraction will change to Soarin’ Across America on July 2nd, to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. Three Soarin’ versions in one year at Disneyland?!
