A rare Disney celebration parade is about to happen, and these don’t come around often.

While daily parades are part of the magic, Disney occasionally hosts special celebration parades tied to huge cultural or sports moments. These events are typically short-lived, lightly announced, and incredibly special for guests lucky enough to be there. And one of those rare parade moments is officially making a return.
Disney has officially confirmed something pretty special for early February, and if you’re a sports fan, Disney fan, or both, you may want to pay attention! In a recent announcement shared on social media, Disney Parks revealed that this year’s Super Bowl champions will be celebrated with a parade at Disneyland on February 9th, continuing the iconic “I’m going to Disneyland!” tradition.

The celebration will take place the day after the big game, with the winning team expected to parade down Main Street, U.S.A., inside Disneyland. This long-running tradition typically features the Super Bowl MVP or key players from the winning team celebrating with park visitors, interviews, and media appearances throughout the park. Disney has confirmed that the 2026 champions will continue that legacy with a victory celebration at Disneyland following the game.

This year’s championship game, Super Bowl LX, is shaping up to be a major one. The game will feature the New England Patriots vs. the Seattle Seahawks, marking a highly anticipated rematch between two teams with deep Super Bowl history.

The matchup is especially notable because these two teams previously faced off in Super Bowl XLIX — one of the most memorable Super Bowls in recent history. The 2026 game will give both teams another shot at championship glory, with the Patriots entering as AFC champions and the Seahawks representing the NFC.
The highly anticipated Super Bowl LX is scheduled for February 8th, meaning the Disney celebration will happen the very next day.

If you’re visiting Disneyland around February 9th, you could be in for a rare and exciting moment! Super Bowl victory parades don’t happen every year at every park, which makes these celebrations especially unique.

Events like this are part of Disney’s decades-long partnership with the NFL and the famous post-game “I’m going to Disneyland!” campaign, a tradition that has become nearly as iconic as the game itself.
