‘Tis the season for lots of unique fireworks shows in Disney World!

With the holidays, there are a variety of limited-time entertainment options, and we’ve already seen specialty fireworks and nighttime shows in Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom (You can throw EPCOT in there too, if you count the Candlelight Processional!). But coming up soon, we’re getting the return of the New Year’s Eve fireworks!
With New Year’s Eve coming soon, it’s time to start planning where you’re going to watch fireworks in Disney World. There are a few different options to ring in the new year, each one an exclusive offering that you can only see at the end of the calendar year.

At Magic Kingdom, the Fantasy in the Sky fireworks will happen at at 7:30 PM and 11:50 PM on both December 30th and December 31st. So even if you’re not in the park on actual New Year’s Eve, you’ll have a show to watch! AND you can go to bed early if you catch that first showing.

At EPCOT, Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration will happen at 11:54PM on December 31st only. The New Year Countdown Fireworks at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be at 11:57PM on December 31st, as well.

So unless you’re going to Magic Kingdom, it looks like you’ll have to commit to stay up late to check out the fireworks! On New Year’s Eve, Fantasmic will still have three showtimes at Hollywood Studios, and Luminous — the Symphony of Us will perform at 6:30PM.

We’ll be in the parks checking out some of these celebrations and sharing the experience with you, so stay tuned to AllEars!
