Who doesn’t love a Disney drone show? We know we do, and we’d actually really love to see more of them!

In the past, we saw a pretty epic drone show in Disney Springs that has yet to return, and we saw some more drones when the Disney Destiny got ready for its inaugural sailing just a few weeks ago. We know Disney has the capability to utilize them, and have been wondering why we don’t see them more frequently, especially because this surprise drone show at the Grand Prix just blew our socks off!
Last night at the conclusion of the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, Disney debuted a special, new show that used music, pyrotechnics, the Fountains of Bellagio Show, as well as drones!

While we weren’t in attendance in person, we did watch it on TV at 1 AM when it premiered, and WOW was it incredible! Truly a one-of-a-kind show, and while it all took our breath away, when the drones formed a racecar in the sky? Yep, our jaws were on the ground.

The drones were also used throughout the rest of the show too, but with the camera angles, they were a little hard to see on screen. Combined with the music, pyrotechnics, water show, and Mickey himself, it blended in really well though.

Disney just recently began collabing with F1 for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, which was complete with a new merchandise line and Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, and Pluto making appearances at the event. Guests could also check out the Disneyland Band performing, Community Day in Las Vegas, and a Pitlane Walk. We’re not sure if they’ll continue to collab with F1 for future events, but we’ll just have to wait and see!
