NEWS: Woman Dies After Riding Disney’s Haunted Mansion

According to KTLA 5, a woman in her 60s was found unresponsive after riding the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland on the evening of October 6th.

The Anaheim Fire & Rescue crews responded to a call in the parks around 6:30 PM regarding the guest.

Disneyland security provided CPR while waiting for the paramedics. She was transported to the hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

Officials have not released the woman’s name or the cause of death, but confirmed that “there is no indication of any operating issue with the attraction, which reopened soon after.” They also said it “appears to be an unfortunate medical episode.”

The Anaheim Police Department and Orange County Sheriff-Coroner will announce more information at a later time.
