The One Group of People Epic Universe Is SABOTAGING With Its Ticket Rules

Epic Universe has been drawing in fans from far and wide, but one certain group of folks have found themselves on the outside looking in…

Epic Universe

Universal Orlando has a real winner on its hands with Epic Universe, and, as such, the demand has been pretty high. To accommodate this demand while delivering a worthwhile experience, Universal has implemented ways to restrict overcrowding issues, and that includes implementing rules that limit some of the theme park resort’s most loyal patrons.

If you’re a Universal Orlando Annual Passholder, we regret to inform you that — as of this writing — your pass does NOT include access to Epic Universe.

Annual Pass

Right now, Annual Passholders are limited to specially-priced 1-day Epic Universe tickets — which means they still have to purchase tickets like everyone else, albeit with a bit of a discount.

Isle of Berk

Ticket prices and availability vary by day, but rest assured that an allotment of tickets for all dates have been reserved for Passholders.

Per the official Universal Orlando website, there is a limit of 6 tickets per transaction. If you have more than 6 Passholders linked to your Account, you will need more than 1 transaction.

Super Nintendo World

Of course, a current and valid Annual or Seasonal Pass is required at the time of purchase and there is a limit one (1) 1-day Universal Epic Universe ticket per day per Pass. You can check out the daily pricing online at the Universal Orlando website.

Dark Universe

Despite this special offering, it’s understandable that Annual Passholders are upset. If Passholders want to go to Epic Universe, they’ll have to pay for it ON TOP of already paying for the Annual Pass…which just feels kind of wrong.

Passholders obviously visit the parks more than once a year, so revisits to Epic Universe are going to be EXPENSIVE, especially for families paying for more than one ticket. Add that onto the costs of an Annual Pass and it’s kind of understandable that a good chunk of Passholders are opting to NOT visit Epic Universe and wait until the pass includes admission.

A brand-new ‘Harry Potter’ land!

However, it appears as this restriction is limited, as Universal has hinted at Passholder Epic Universe access in 2026. Of course, when the official announcement is made, we’ll be sure to bring you that update!

  1. It’s only logical that Epic Universe is not included to pass holders at this time. When the time does come for it to be included, the prices for annual passes will be increased. When anyone bought a pass, they knew which parks were included in such pass. Same way it works for Busch Gardens and Kings Dominion parks.
