We’re reporting LIVE from Epic Universe in Orlando, just before the park officially opens to the public on May 22nd, 2025. The grand opening ceremony is set to be a BIG deal — we’re talking pyrotechnics, celebrities, and more. In fact, we just spotted three beloved Harry Potter stars at Epic Universe! COME LIVE OUT OUR HARRY POTTER DREAMS WITH US!
Epic Universe just hosted a special portal opening ceremony at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic. The event was SO magical — from the music to the stunning portal itself, it was a real “wow” moment. But the real magic happened when THREE Harry Potter stars stepped through the portal.
Recognize these faces? It’s Warwick Davis, James, and Oliver Phelps! Davis played several characters in the Harry Potter films, including Griphook, a Goblin Bank Teller, and Professor Filius Flitwick. James and Oliver Phelps, of course, played the beloved Weasley twins, Fred and George.
These stars came to Epic Universe to welcome us into The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic. And look! They even had WANDS!
In this land at Epic Universe, you will discover a different era of the wizarding world. The land blends 1920s wizarding Paris from the Fantastic Beasts films with the famous British Ministry of Magic from the Harry Potter series. You can travel from 1920s Paris to 1990s London by the iconic Floo Network!
There’s a new attraction (Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry), a new show (Le Cirque Arcaus), places to practice your magic spells, characters, restaurants, BUTTERBEER, and more. Seriously — this place is MAGIC!
We cannot WAIT for this park to officially open — you’re gonna love it, trust us.
