FULL REVIEW: Cafe L’Air de la Sirene in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic at Epic Universe

Bonjour! We’ve been trying all the food around Epic Universe, so you know the best places to try on your first trip to this brand-new theme park.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic in Epic Universe

We went to Cafe L’air de la Sirene in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic, to try out some wizarding delights. We’re bringing you a full review, so let’s enter Paris together and explore some new meals.

Background

The Ministry of Magic is one of the five new lands in Epic Universe, and this one takes you right into the wizarding world of the 1920s.

These details are stunning!

This land combines the Fantastic Beasts films with the British Ministry of Magic from the Harry Potter series. You’ll enter through the portal with a Time Turner on top, and BOOM, you’re in a whole new time period and place.

Street atmosphere

There are lots of details to explore, and we love that this French cafe has been added to the land.

Entertainment in Epic Universe!

Now that we know more about the land, let’s talk about eating!

Atmosphere

This French cafe is home to baked goods, sandwiches, plats du jour, and desserts. Of course, they sell Butterbeer!

Inside Cafe L’Air De La Sirene

They have alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options, including beer, cocktails, and French wines. There are seating options both inside and outside, and we loved sitting outside to watch the street performers.

Inside

You can Mobile Order, sit at a table, and then scan the QR code on the table. The Team Members will bring your meals and drinks straight to you!

Food & Drinks

We started with The Cassoulet Végétalien aux Haricots Blancs for $18.99.

Our first dish!

This is a rich stew with cannellini beans, vegan sausage, vegan bacon, trumpet mushrooms, carrots, and tomatoes, topped with baguette croutons. The whole bowl was flavorful, and all of the elements really paired well together. It might be on the salty side to some, but we loved how the salt flavor came through with each bite.

The vegan sausage and bacon added was smoky and rich. The cannellini beans and veggies made the dish really filling, and the mushrooms were the standout. All blended together, this dish had us keep on going back for more. The croutons added a nice crunch of flavor, and the vegan sausage used was delicious.

Yum!

We also had the Vegan Croissant, which we could describe with one word: flawless.

And it’s vegan!

It was buttery and flaky, but made without dairy, which is spectacular for those who can’t or choose not to consume dairy. We kept dipping it into the cassoulet, which was the ultimate combination. We’re going to stop by and order this croissant over and over again.

SO GOOD!

For our drink, we had the Lavender Lemonade for $5.50.

Drink up!

The lavender was on the subtle side, so it was mostly lemonade, but we didn’t mind since the lemonade is delicious. It does have a purple tint, which makes it feel very magical in the wizarding world. If you’re looking for a cool, refreshing drink, this might be one to grab!

Our meal

Overall, we really enjoyed the vegan dishes at Cafe L’air de la Sirene and will be stopping by again, especially to get those croissants. We loved the atmosphere, and we can’t wait to grab another meal here.
