NEW Permit Revealed for LEVEL99 Entertainment Experience in Disney World

We go to Disney Springs for the food options. We go when we’re in the mood for a little shopping. But soon, we’ll be going for the GAMES. A new interactive, social entertainment experience by LEVEL99 is coming to Disney Springs.

LEVEL99 is an interactive, social entertainment experience with immersive challenge rooms. You can currently visit other LEVEL99 locations across the East Coast, and the new Disney Springs location will mark the fifth and largest location on the West Side of Disney Springs. Disney just filed a new permit for its LEVEL99 location, and we have the details.

On April 16th, Disney filed a permit for “General Construction/Demo” at the former home of the NBA Experience in Disney Springs. The contractor listed for the project is Adena Corporation, which has prior experience working with Disney. The permit expires in one year, which hints that construction will likely start soon.

LEVEL99 hosts a variety of challenge rooms where teams of two to six players work together to beat either a physical or mental challenge (it’s like an escape room but BIGGER). Each experience lasts around one to four minutes and includes arena duels for player vs. player battles and an art hunt.

LEVEL99’s other locations are described as “real-world, challenge-based, social entertainment for adults featuring over 50 physical and mental challenges set in artistic environments.” Sounds pretty cool, right?

Remember how we said the new Disney Springs location is gonna be BIG? Well, the new LEVEL99 will occupy over 45,000 square feet in a two-level venue with over 60 challenge rooms and duels. There will be a two-story bar (!!!) with cocktails and local beers, as well as a menu that features LEVEL99’s signature Detroit-style pizza.

We still don’t know exactly what kind of games will be available at the Disney Springs location, but LEVEL99 stated that it expects to be able to entertain up to 1,000 players at any given time in the interactive space.
