Travel to Disney World can be pretty complicated.

With rising prices and potential impacts from tariffs, it can feel like going to Disney is just getting more and more expensive. Now, there’s one change that indicates it might get cheaper to fly down to Orlando!
Frontier Airlines, along with Delta Airlines, has cut down on flights due to the fall in demand in March 2025, according to CNBC. While this drop might mean fewer flight options, it could mean more deals for us when flying!

In a securities filing, Frontier said it expects “fare discounting and promotions across the industry” in response to this drop in travel. In addition to this, the airline also lowered its first quarter outlook (meaning how it expected to perform from January 1st through March 31st).

It isn’t only flights that are being impacted, the entire travel industry seems to be changing due to the fluctuating tariffs and economy. According to the NY Times, the American Society of Travel Advisors said it took a survey of its members and, “nearly 54 percent reported a decrease in consumer demand driven by economic concerns.”

The Times also noted that in March 2025, Bank of America analysts detailed that domestic travel was low at the beginning of this year, which they believed was caused by “falling consumer confidence, bad weather, and a late Easter.”

Brian Sumers, who writes for the Airline Observer, said, “On the whole, I expect prices will fall and we will see more empty seats.” In addition to flight prices falling, hotels and even cruises could be impacted too. We have already seen some discounts on Disney resorts this summer, although that might be more due to Epic Universe opening at Universal Orlando on May 22nd.

While we can’t be certain what will happen as the year continues, we are eager to see if it gets easier to travel! As always, be sure to keep following AllEars for more travel news and updates.
