Disney Reveals Early Entry CHANGES Coming Soon for Hotel Guests

Disney World just announced ANOTHER addition coming to early park entry visitors for a limited time!

Minnie and Angie

We love getting an early start to our day at Disney World and while we’ve got so many tips, tricks, and strategies to share with you to help you do it all, that might be getting easier soon! Disney World just announced several limited-time offerings debuting this summer in the parks and we noticed one more addition coming to a popular Disney World hotel perk!

One of our favorite perks of staying at a Disney World hotel is Early Theme Park Entry each morning. This is only made available to select Disney World hotel guests and allows them entry to the park 30 minutes earlier than the park’s opening hours. It’s certainly one of the best ways to get a jumpstart to your day and knock out a popular ride or two before the crowds have a chance to lengthen their wait times later in the day.

However, Disney World just announced a slew of offerings coming soon and there’s one interesting change coming to early entry at the parks! Disney just confirmed that during early entry to the parks, more offerings will be made available soon. Select character meet and greets will also be added to the Early Entry perk, meaning you’ll be able to get a head start on those warm hugs and photo ops well before the park’s official opening for the day!

Mickey and Angie!

We’re so excited to hear a pre-rope drop option is coming to say “hello” to a few of our favorite Disney pals! This early start to your day could be just the thing you and your family are looking for to feel comfortable taking a midday break during the hotter summer months, allowing for a quick pool break or power nap in your hotel room.

Crowds at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

If you’re looking to add characters to your early morning start, you’ll want to be sure you’re timing your visit just right! The addition of characters to Early Entry is currently only slated to run for a limited time from May 27th through September 1st, 2025. We’re not sure that Disney World will look to extend their early morning appearances, so your best chance at getting to experience this addition is to make sure you’re visiting within that time frame just to be sure.

  1. Excellent contents and great video on tips,
Communicore password. When it comes to Disney, “Too much is never enough”

  2. Longtime pass holders here. We are taking the next year off and gonna give Universal a try for 2026 when our current Disney passes are expired. Meet and greet are fine for sure. But to me the entirety of Magic Kingdom should be open early. And if they bring back extended hours to more hotels that would be nice to have that perk back as well. Disney is moving way to slow to make things more attractive after taking people over the coals tone enjoy their Disney vacation. Universals higher end hotels are at the low price of Disneys higher end options AND I can have breakfast delivered to my room before heading out to the park. Disney needs to wise up ASAP.
