Something NEW Is Coming to Disney’s Pop Century Resort

Everything Pop Shopping and Dining at Disney’s Pop Century Resort has been undergoing refurbishments for a while now. The refurbishment first began in July 2024 and has been ongoing ever since.

However, we have good news for you if you are staying at Disney’s Pop Century Resort soon! While Disney technically is still listing Everything Pop Shopping and Dining as under refurbishment, only a very small part is still under construction.

In January 2025, almost all the dining and shopping areas had reopened except for one food window. The store and food court were sporting a brand-new look with lots of bright colors and fun details. We definitely feel like they did a great job with the refurbishment, and both the areas really pop now (pun intended).

While almost everything has reopened, we were still very curious about what would be unveiled behind the construction walls. A recent Disney Parks Blog post informed us that a brand-new coffee shop would join the Everything Pop Shopping and Dining lineup.

Just one window left!

When we stopped by recently, the construction walls were still up, but when we spoke with a Cast Member, they thought it might open as a brewery concept. They thought the area might serve beer as well as coffee, so no matter what you are feeling, it will have the perfect drink for you. That sounds like our kind of coffee shop!

New Pop Century Dining Area

Based on the Disney World website, this area of Everything Pop Shopping and Dining will likely open sometime in April, but we don’t have an official date yet. However, we will be sure to keep you updated as we learn more! The good news is that the food court and store are open for business, so you can grab all your favorite snacks and pick out your favorite Disney merchandise.
