I Go To Disney World Every Day. Here Are 8 NEW Tips You MUST Have in 2025

I spend SO MUCH TIME at Disney World that it’s fair to say I’ve picked up a hack or two.

Visiting Disney World in 2025? Trust your Disney World wingman to hook you up with the best tips!  I go to Disney World every day so you can have the best vacation possible during your visit. With 2025 officially underway, here are eight tips I think you’ll absolutely need this year!

The Worst Time to Visit in the History of Disney World Is the First Half of 2025…

Believe it or not, early 2025 is shaping up to be one of the most chaotic periods in Disney World’s history. When I say this, I’m really highlighting all the construction that’s ongoing.

Tomorrowland construction

We’ve seen plenty of construction walls, cranes, and closures already and these projects will dominate the parks as Disney begins a massive overhaul of key attractions.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Construction

To be frank, many are calling the early part of the year the worst time to visit and it’s hard to argue — especially if you’re expecting a polished and seamless Disney experience with plenty of attractions open and no eyesores.

Walls have been put up next to TriceraTop Spin

Disney execs explained that, “Change is necessary to keep the magic fresh,” but that doesn’t really help us out during the first half of the year.

To lay it all out, here’s what you can expect to miss at Disney World in the first half of the year:

Or Could 2025 Be the Best Time to Visit Disney World in Disguise?

On the flip side, all of these disruptions could make for a quieter, less crowded experience. Expectations are low and if you don’t need the perfect Disney experience to have an amazing experience, early 2025 could be ideal.

Breedlove!

Historically speaking, construction scares away casual visitors who want the “full Disney experience.”  But that just means shorter wait times, less competition for Lightning Lane reservations, and the chance to explore the parks with fewer crowds.

Magic Kingdom

Factor in the popularity of Universal Orlando’s new Epic Universe theme park pulling from the Disney theme park crowd, and Disney World might be emptier than usual.

For die-hard Disney fans, there’s also something really cool about seeing the parks in transition. It’s a rare chance to witness Disney history being made in real-time and something truly unique in time that can never be repeated.

Cinderella Castle

Whether or not 2025 is the perfect time to visit is ultimately up to you and what you want out of your Disney vacation.

If You DO Decide to Visit in 2025, You’ll Need a Plan

If you’re brave enough to take on Disney World in 2025 — especially during the first few months when construction is at its peak — you’ll need a plan to navigate the chaos. I have a feeling that all of these projects could create complications with transportation.

Transportation caveats and delays are revealed sporadically and you may not know about them until right before your trip. I recommend checking back here at AllEars to stay in the know and get up-to-date on where these obstacles pop up so you can plan your route around them to minimize delays and keep your experience as smooth as possible.

Pool Hopping is ‘Illegal’ Now… But Here’s How to Get Around It

The Disney World hotels have been tightening pool access rules and now pools are exclusive to guests staying at each specific resort. Some pools already require wristbands or MagicBands, and in 2025 all hotels are expected to have these checks in place to keep pools reserved for registered guests.

While pool-hopping between different resorts is no longer an option, you can still explore the pools within your own resort while taking advantage of a variety of options during your stay.

Big Blue Pool

Each resort has a main feature pool, but they also have smaller and secluded pools that many guests don’t even know about. These spots are kind of remote, offering different vibes and great getaways when you want something different but can’t pool-hop.

How to Visit Disney World for Free in 2025 Without Ever Leaving Your Living Room

Here’s a Disney World tip that you can actually enjoy from the comfort of your own home and — best of all — it’s completely free!

“Tiger Tuesday” is continuing throughout 2025 on the Disney Parks YouTube channel and is a weekly series that takes you behind the scenes at Disney’s Animal Kingdom to follow Bakso, the park’s newest Sumatran tiger cub, and his mother, Sohni.

Each episode gives you another look at Bakso and his growth, often showcasing his playful interactions with Sohni, his explorations, and the care he receives from Disney’s dedicated animal team. Entertaining and heartwarming, “Tiger Tuesday” really shines a spotlight on the importance of conservation and the critically endangered Sumatran tiger.

“Tiger Tuesdays” is free to watch and new episodes drop every Tuesday, giving you a midweek boost of Disney magic from wherever you are.

When Real Life Interrupts the Magic… Here’s How to Stay in the Disney Bubble

Disney World provides a real sense of escapism, but it’s nearly impossible for real life not to tag along with you — at least a little bit.  Illness, allergies, or other deterrents are the last thing you want on vacation and it’s normal to feel an unexpected hiccup could derail your trip. Fortunately, Disney’s partnership with AdventHealth has you covered with a service that the fun going without skipping a beat.

For just $59 without insurance, you can schedule a quick virtual visit through the AdventHealth app and connect with a healthcare provider. If you require antibiotics, allergy medication, or another prescription, the provider sends it to an AdventHealth pharmacy. The best part is your order can be delivered directly to a convenient spot such as City Hall in Magic Kingdom or to your Disney hotel.

Disney and AdventHealth partnership

Leave the struggle of searching for a pharmacy or leaving the park behind. Disney and AdventHealth have you covered to keep you going. While you can’t always plan for every moment of your trip, you can count on this tip just in case something comes up during your 2025 trip.

One Off-Property Guest Could Wreck Your Whole Vacation

Disney’s Lightning Lane Multi Pass system lets you plan ahead to get the most out of your park experience, and staying on property offers a huge advantage.

Disney Resort guests can book up to three Lightning Lane attractions per day a full seven days in advance of their visit. Meanwhile, guests staying off-property only get a three-day advance booking window. This leaves the latter at a disadvantage when it comes to securing high-demand rides.

There is a catch: if even one member of your party stays off-property, the system automatically aligns with the shorter booking window. Even if the majority of your group is on a Disney Resort reservation, that single off-property stay could cost you access to those early bookings.

A potential workaround is to add the off-property guest to your Disney Resort reservation, granting them the same seven-day advantage, but this isn’t always possible due to occupancy limits and complicated vacation package bookings.

Your accommodations matter more than ever under the Lightning Lane Multi Pass system and keeping the whole party together on property ensures everyone in the party gets the full seven-day advantage for ride reservations.

The $2000 Dilemma: Disney Bubble or Big?

The number one complaint from Disney fans is easily the cost. Reports show the average cost for a family of four can easily exceed $5,000, even without splurging on extras. It doesn’t help that the cost of everything at Disney World — food, tickets, and more — has gone up.

EPCOT

It doesn’t help that perks continue to get eliminated while the perception that Disney has become a luxury product increases. Guests are feeling priced out.

The good news is that there’s a way to save a ton of money without sacrificing comfort. Renting a vacation home through Vrbo or Airbnb can slash your accommodation costs while giving you amenities you’ll never get in a standard hotel room.

This route often yields great amenities such as a washer and dryer, a private pool, a full kitchen, and plenty of space to spread out. The costs are also way cheaper. Imagine paying $195 a night for a three-bedroom house near Disney World instead of dropping well over $656 a night for two rooms at Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort! That’s a savings of over 70% per night—or a total of over $2,000 over a five-night stay.

Coronado Springs Resort

It’s up to you and your family to decide what’s most important. If you’re all about the Disney bubble, its theming, and its convenience — this tip is a nonstarter. But if you’re looking to save a buck? Maybe give it a second thought.

The trade-off is that you’ll lose the seven-day advance booking window for Lightning Lane Multi Pass and will get the three-day window instead. However, we previously mentioned that 2025 could bring smaller crowds, so it might not end up being a problem.
