So you might be planning a Disney World trip and you’ve figured out all the basics like your budget, where you’re staying, how long you’re staying, and what theme park tickets you need.

But have you thought about how you’re getting to Disney World? Now if you live close enough, you might just choose to drive. However, most of us fly to Disney World via Orlando International Airport. The good news is that Orlando International Airport is adding new nonstop flight routes every day, so here are the flights added this month.
New flight routes
The following new flight routes were added to Orlando International Airport in April 2025:
- Indianapolis, IN — Delta Airlines (April 5th-12th)
- Richmond, VA — Southwest Airlines (April 10th)
- San Diego, CA — Southwest Airlines (April 10th)
- San Francisco, CA — Frontier Airlines (April 1st)

Resuming Flight Routes
- Chicago/O’Hare, IL — Southwest (April 8th)
- Edinburgh, Scotland — Virgin Atlantic (April 2nd-October 25th)
- Fayetteville, AR — Breeze Airways (April 30th-August 2nd)
- Hartford, CT — Spirit Airlines (April 9th-May 6th)

Announcements from April 2025
- Munich, Germany — Discover Airlines (March 5th)
- Paris, France — Air France (May 21st)
- Madrid, Spain — Iberia Airlines (October 26th)

If you are flying to Orlando International Airport, you’ll need to make sure you know how to get to Disney World from the airport. You have several options, including renting a car, hiring a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft, or using a shared shuttle service like Mears Connect.
Once you get to Disney World, though, it’s all easy peasy from there — Disney World has its own FREE transportation system that can get you around the resort.
