World of Frozen opened at Hong Kong Disneyland last year, 2023.
The new park expansion brought new rides, shows, dining, shops, and more to the park as a Frozen-themed land. We had SO much fun exploring the new area of Hong Kong Disneyland, and now we’re getting eager for the new World of Frozen to open in Disneyland Paris! With only a little more than a year left of work on the land, Disney has shared some new progress pictures of the construction. Let’s check them out!
World of Frozen will open in Disneyland Paris in 2026. The new land will be an addition to the reimagining of Walt Disney Studios Park into Disney Adventure World. World of Frozen will join Avengers Campus and Worlds of Pixar in the park. You’ll journey into Arendelle just as at Hong Kong Disneyland.
The North Mountain, the town of Arendelle, Elsa’s ice castle, and Anna’s castle will all welcome you to the new adventures you’re sure to have in this new land. Based on what we know about the World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland, you’ll likely be able to enjoy delicious food, fun rides, and a new show.
Since this new land is opening in 2026, construction has been ongoing for a little while now. Recently, Disneyland Paris had its first snow of the year, and Disney shared a fun Instagram post of the snow in the World of Frozen construction (a very fitting place for snow!). You can see work is really coming along on the new land!
In the background, you can see scaffolding and construction that is ongoing, but they are really making progress!
As we are only a month away from entering 2025, Disney has a little over a year to finish the construction for opening in 2026. However, a specific date for the opening has yet to be announced.
It’s exciting to see the progress on this new land! World of Frozen will open with the debut of the park’s new name, Disney Adventure World. We’ll be watching for any new updates, such as ride and restaurant announcements from Disney.
