Avelo Airlines Adds NEW Nonstop Flight to Orlando

When you go to Disney World, you probably do a lot of planning (as we all do).

You figure out your budget, as well as how long you want to stay. You also pick a hotel to stay at, as well as decide on which theme park tickets you need to purchase. You decide on where to eat and if you’ll need Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Lightning Lane Single Pass. But how will you get to Disney World? For most of us, the answer is flying, and there’s now a new option to fly to Orlando.

WBTV reported that Avelo Airlines, a budget airline company, is now offering nonstop flights from Concord, North Carolina directly to Orlando, Lakeland, FL. Now note that this is a flight to the Lakeland (LAL) airport and not Orlando International Airport. However, if the price is right, this nonstop option could save you some money on your next Disney trip.

You will still need to figure out how to travel from the airport to Disney World, but this could be a good option if you were planning on renting a car anyway. You won’t find direct Disney World transportation at this airport like Mears Connect, but if you’re planning on renting a car or taking a rideshare service, it could be a good option.
