The holiday season is officially here, and we’ve already seen it in Disney World with all the pretty decorations.
Perhaps you want to do something special for the holidays before hitting up the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays and attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. If you’re in a shopping mood and want your shopping to do some good, we’ve got a great way on how you can do just that: Disney’s Ultimate Toy Drive is now underway.
For over 75 years, Disney has supported the Toys for Tots program, which aims to bring toys to millions of children in need during the holiday season. Right now, you can buy toys from The Disney Store and have them donated to the program.
So how did Disney begin supporting Toys for Tots? In 1947, Walt Disney and his animators designed the original Toys for Tots train logo — the one that’s still used today. Disney continues to help bring toys to children in need.
You can help by donating a new, unwrapped toy in person to a specific drop-off location (you can find a list of locations here) from now through December 13th or you can shop at The Disney Store HERE and donate a toy online from now through December 24th.
If you’re a family who needs to request assistance, you can do so here.
