Magic Kingdom

Price hikes hit Disney World recently, increasing the pricing for tons of things around the parks. Food, parking, Annual Passes, and more saw their prices go up, as is typical for this time of year. But guests visiting the parks likely spent even more than normal on another Disney World product — Lightning Lanes.

Lightning Lane Multi Pass debuted in Disney World in July of this year. The new Lightning Lane system is similar to the previous systems the parks have seen. Like FastPass+, you can purchase and book your Lightning Lanes in advance of your trip, and like Genie+, it uses surge pricing. This means the cost of Lightning Lane Multi Pass varies by day based on the anticipated demand of the parks.

Unfortunately, as we now move into the holiday season at Disney World, we’re likely going to see the prices of Multi Pass go up and up as more people head to the parks to celebrate. And the first wave of increases officially hit this weekend.

Christmas has come to Magic Kingdom

On November 1st, Magic Kingdom hit a record high price since becoming Multi Pass and since November 2023 (for Genie+). On Friday, you could purchase Multi Pass for Magic Kingdom for $35! The price dropped a bit for Saturday and Sunday (November 2nd and 3rd) to $32, but that is still pretty high.

The EPCOT Multi Pass cost $24 on Friday, $26 on Saturday, and $24 on Sunday, while Hollywood Studios went up to $29 on Friday, $32 on Saturday, and $29 on Sunday.

Spaceship Earth

Animal Kingdom set a park record high on Saturday, November 2nd, with a price of $22 (the cheapest of the three parks)! The cost on Friday and Sunday is $19.

Throughout the month of November, as far out as we can see so far, the price of Multi Pass ranges from $27-$35 for Magic Kingdom. As a reminder, once you’ve bought one park’s Multi Pass, you can park hop (if you have a Park Hopper ticket) without needing to purchase it again.

It is likely that we’ll continue to see pricing to Multi Pass go up. Last year, the multi-park Genie+ option hit $35 on Thanksgiving Day and $39 on Christmas Day. As we near these major holidays this year, we’ll be checking to see if Multi Pass reaches new records.

Christmas has come to Magic Kingdom

This record-high weekend comes after the recent implementation of Lightning Lane Premier Pass. This new top-tier service costs between $129 and $400 per person per park per day to use the Lightning Lane line for every ride in one park one time on the date purchased.
