FIRST LOOK at San Fransokyo Street on the NEW Disney Adventure Cruise Ship

Disney Cruise Line fans, get excited; we finally have more details about Disney’s new mega-ship.

The Disney Adventure was previously the Global Dream, and Disney acquired the unfinished ship in 2022. The ship will finally be ready to set sail on her maiden voyage on December 15th, 2025, out of Singapore. Bookings start very soon, starting with Castaway Club Members from December 4th to the 9th, depending on your Castaway Club status. Bookings will then open for the general public on December 10th. This ship is totally different from Disney’s current ships and will include seven themed areas, one of them being San Fransokyo Street!

San Fransokyo Street aboard the Disney Adventure will be inspired by the animated film Big Hero 6.

According to Disney, this area “will be a vibrant street market perfect for family entertainment with interactive games and activities, shops, cinemas and more.” ©Disney

Of course on San Fransokyo Street, you will be able to meet Baymax!

Looking for more Big Hero 6 fun? Guests aboard the ship will also be able to put their hero skills to the test in the Hiro Training Zone. This will be an immersive training simulator built by none other than Hiro Hamada. This will be an “active, full-body experience that will have groups of four running, dodging, and blocking their way across a high-tech gaming floor.”

This is not the first time Disney will add an area dedicated to Baymax and other characters from the movie, as Disney California Adventure recently re-imagined Pacific Warf into San Fransokyo.
