ANOTHER ship, the Disney Treasure, is also on the way. However, a NEW partially-completed ship just joined the Disney Cruise Line fleet!

Disney just purchased a partially-completed ship, the Global Dream. This new ship will be based outside the U.S. and will “feature innovative Disney experiences along with the dazzling entertainment, world-class dining and legendary guest service that set Disney Cruise Line apart.”

What sets the new ship apart, though, is that it will be the first in the entire cruise industry to use green methanol as fuel — green methanol is one of the lowest-emission fuels currently available. Passenger capacity is expected to be around 6,000 guests with around 2,300 cast members.
