BREAKING: NEWS About Disney’s ‘Zootopia 2’ Revealed!

Heads up Zootopia fans, we have the news you’ve been waiting for.

This weekend, Disney is hosting the massive D23 Ultimate Fan Event in Anaheim, California. The sprawling convention is in the midst of breaking HUGE NEWS from across Disney’s spectrum of offerings, including films, television streaming, video games, and parks. 

One of the weekend’s BIGGEST announcements was the confirmation of various details about Zootopia 2, a sequel to one of Disney’s most successful and beloved modern films.

Zootopia 2 is coming to theaters in November of 2025, and Ginnifer Goodwin — the voice of Judy Hopps herself — was on hand at D23 to discuss the upcoming sequel.

One of the film’s new characters will be a reptile named Gary, voiced by Oscar-winner Ke Huy Quan.

According to the panel, “When we first meet Gary he’s a bit of a wanted reptile that Judy and Nick are trying to find.”
