It’s Official. Disney Adults Agree This Is the BEST Hotel Perk of ALL TIME.

If you put a group of Disney Adults together in a room, it’s hard to find something everyone can agree on. Some people love the Value Hotels, like Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. Others would rather splurge on a Deluxe room at Disney’s Riviera Resort. Some people LOVE Magic Kingdom, while others prefer the scene at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

But there’s one thing most people can agree on, and that’s the fact that free Disney perks are ALWAYS a good thing. Which Disney perk reigns supreme, though? We asked our readers on Facebook!

Our question was simple: What is the BEST Disney World hotel perk of ALL TIME? Do you have your answer? Let’s see if it’s the same as what our Facebook readers had to say!

There were a few popular responses, but the most popular answer was easily transportation. People love that free transport from place to place, and we don’t blame them! It’s pretty nice to leave all the driving and navigating to someone else.

AllEars Luke said, “There’s always a way to get to the parks, Disney Springs and the biggest for us, runDisney races. At 3AM in the morning, it makes it simple to hop on a bus and be delivered to the race, then collapse on the bus in air conditioning afterwards!”

From the Skyliner to the Monorail, there are some pretty fun and unique ways to get around Disney World. Add in the fact that transportation is FREE for anyone to use, and you have to hand it to Disney — that’s a pretty sweet perk!

Oh, and if you’re not taking Disney’s free transportation to the parks, there’s another handy option (depending on where you’re staying, that is): WALKING! We heard from a lot of readers who agreed that being able to walk to and from your hotel is a BIG perk.

People seem to especially love the walk between the EPCOT Resort Area hotels and the International Gateway. AllEars reader Claire said, “Location of Beach Club is ideal! Short walk to Epcot, which is fantastic when the park closes and you don’t have to deal with long lines for buses. Also Stormalong Bay is a fantastic pool!” We have to agree!

Wanna know what else people love? Extended Evening Hours in Disney World! Extended Evening Hours are an additional bonus for those staying at Disney’s Deluxe Resorts and Disney Villas at Disney World. Hotels like Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, the EPCOT-area Deluxe Resorts, and the Monorail Resorts are all included in this free perk.

AllEars Reader Holly pointed out that the Extended Hours at Magic Kingdom were her favorite! Note that not all rides are open during Extended Hours, and this perk is only available on select nights throughout the year.

Finally, we have to talk about the Disney perk graveyard — the place where old perks still live in our hearts but no longer exist in Disney World. Reader Fran (and several others) miss being able to send souvenirs back to their hotel after a day of shopping in the parks.

Of course, readers also mentioned Disney’s old Magical Express service — a handy airport transportation system that took you to and from the Disney World hotels for FREE. Yeah, that was a BIG perk that we all miss.

These days, you have to use a third-party service to get back and forth from the airport. We miss you, Magical Express!
