If you’re staying at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, we have something important you need to know.

When we were visiting recently, we saw a sign in the lobby, and let’s just say we are SO glad we saw it. Now we get to share it all with you!
There will be a scheduled power outage on Tuesday, April 14th, from 2 AM to 5 PM. Disney is working on the electrical power, and your room might lose power for a bit. If you have any questions or concerns, you can talk to the Cast Members at the front desk.

We know that during your Disney World trip, it’s easy to run out of the lobby to grab the next bus and not really spend any time at your hotel, but that is why we’re begging you to take a moment to stay at your hotel. There are important signs and warnings that help make your trip go much more smoothly. Now, you know if you’re waiting for some late-night TV or using the bathroom in the middle of the night, you might be without power.

We also find it easier ot prepare our kiddos when we have warnings like this. While they’ll likely sleep through the whole thing, if your little ones sleep with a nightlight, you might want to have a battery-operated one on hand or be prepared for a backup.

If you’re looking for a travel agent to help with your vacation, we recommend our friends at Mouse Fan Travel. They’re experts in the field with over 20 years of vacation planning experience, and they can help take a bunch of the stress out of the entire booking process for you!
