REMINDER: Reservations for Disney’s NEW Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort Open TOMORROW

March 21st is a BIG day, people! One of the NEWEST places to stay in Disney World is opening soon, and up until this point, only a small group of people have been able to book a stay at this location. But that’s all changing SOON.

Over at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, the classic Fort Wilderness Cabins are getting a MAKEOVER. The old cabins will be replaced with a brand-new, modern design, and fans are counting down the days to see the new rooms in person. But before we talk about all the room details, you need to know when to book a stay!

The cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground are getting full makeovers and will soon become Disney Vacation Club properties. We’ve already gotten a preview of what the rooms will look like, so if you’re interested in a little sneak peek, you can watch the video below!

Feeling tempted to book a stay? Mark your calendars! The Disney Vacation Club website states that the first set of cabins is projected to open on July 1st, 2024! A second section of cabins will open later in the month, followed by more throughout the year.

Now, as we said, Disney Vacation Club members had early access to book their stays at these new cabins, but you don’t HAVE to be a Disney Vacation Club member to visit the new cabins! In fact, ALL Disney World visitors can make reservations online on March 21st, 2024. 

These new cabins will feature a similar floorplan to the old cabins, with a small change in where the bathroom is located.

The cabin has one bedroom (with a bunk bed included) plus a pull-down Murphy bed in the living room.

The concept art shows a LOT of fun camping, nature-inspired artwork, and subtle Disney details.
