Universal's Epic Universe Hotels Are One Step Closer to Opening!

We can’t get enough of the latest updates on Universal’s new Epic Universe theme park.

This brand-new theme park will feature five distinct lands, thrilling rides, exciting experiences, and so much more. But, it will also be home to three brand-new hotels, and we’re bringing you with us to check on the construction progress of two of them. Let’s go!

Universal Studios announced that as part of the Epic Universe expansion, two new hotels will be opening as well! Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort will each feature 750 new guest rooms and will be co-owned and operated by Loews Hotels & Co. We recently went to check out how construction was progressing at these hotels, and it looks like things are coming along nicely!

According to what we know, “Universal Stella Nova Resort is inspired by distant galaxies, new stars, and mysterious black holes…” and it looks like that inspiration has come to life with the galaxy-esque exterior of the building.

Universal shared, “…Terra Luna Resort is inspired by the massive and diverse planetary elements of the universe.” It looks like the exterior isn’t quite as complete on this building, but still, things have come a long way since the announcement was first made.

There will also be a third Epic Universe hotel — Universal Helios Grand Hotel gives you direct access to the Epic Universe park. You can walk right in!

The Loews Hotels website notes that Stella Nova will open on January 21st, 2025, and that Terra Luna will open on February 25th, 2025, but those dates have not yet been confirmed publicly by Universal. We’ll keep an eye out for a specific announcement.
