Listen, you know you come to Disney World for the food!

Sometimes, though, there are restaurants that you want to avoid. Whether that’s because of certain scenarios or because the restaurant is seemingly always a bad choice, some of them just put up some major red flags from time to time. Let’s talk about it!
Here are 6 of our biggest red flags when it comes to Disney World restaurants. In other words, if a restaurant has any of these qualities, we’re skipping it.
Poor Reviews and Ratings
Okay, first things first, before you go ahead and make those dining reservations, take a peek at what other guests are saying about the restaurant. If you spot a ton of negative reviews OR if the reviews are as scarce as a hidden Mickey, it might be a sign that something’s not quite right.

Whether it’s lousy food, dodgy service, or who-knows-what, paying attention to what other guests have experienced can save you from a less than “magical” meal.

So make sure to use trusted review platforms like Yelp, and look for reviews that mention food quality, how the service was, and the overall dining experience.
Limited Menu Options
It’s true that Disney World is a foodie’s paradise, but there are some places that might leave you feeling a bit underwhelmed in the menu department.

If you’ve got a crew with picky eaters or specific dietary needs, a skimpy menu just isn’t going to cut it. So, before you commit to a dining spot, check out what’s on the menu.

You’ll want to make sure that the restaurant you choose has something for everyone to munch on from adventurous eats to tried-and-true favorites.
Long Wait Times
Picture this: You’re starving, you’ve got reservations at that Disney World restaurant you’ve been dying to try, and then out of nowhere, you’re hit with an EPIC wait time. While some places are definitely popular spots, those excessively long waits might be a sign that something’s amiss.

Whether it’s because the restaurant is jam-packed or they’re having some behind-the-scenes hiccups, you might want to consider other dining options rather than spending half your day in line.

Well, there you have it. Those are some of our Disney World restaurant red flags. We’ll be sure to keep you updated with more Disney news and advice, so make sure to follow along for more!
