A Disney Legend Just Revealed He Wrote a Sequel to "Twins", and We Need It Green-Lighted PRONTO

We all know that the Super Bowl is extremely famous for drawing some of television’s biggest audiences year after year! But what if we told you that we love the Super Bowl for a different reason?

It’s commercials. Any person tuning into the Super Bowl knows that the commercials are some of the best, most unique ad spots on television! We’ve got some news involving the 2024 State Farm Commercial and the actor who is the voice of one famous summer-loving Snowman.

The State Farm Commercial was a fan favorite featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Devito! The 60-second ad spot featured Schwarzenegger portraying a State Farm employee saving the day but unable to properly pronounce “neighbor,” to which Danny Devito swoops in and saves the day!

We found out that Josh Gad (everyone’s favorite, Olaf) loved the commercial so much that it inspired him to release some of the sequel script he wrote to Schwarzenegger and Devito’s 1988 box office hit, Twins. Gad titled the sequel, Triplets and included Edie Murphy as the third star! Here’s what Gad said:

We have some of the script that he posted which you can find below! The prologue begins by introducing the characters in an insane way and we’re here for it!

We then travel to various different locations highlighting the likeness of the Twins and how they live their lives alongside one another.

The script reveals a lot of progression for the characters, and we can definitely see where Gad was taking the movie, in such a hilarious and unique way. Gad notes that unfortunately the movie never got made, but that in celebration of the reunion of Devito and Schwarzenegger, he released his written prologue!

We think this is such a fun piece of what feels like movie history and we’re really glad we got to witness its release, even if it was just the prologue! Stay tuned to AllEars for more fun and exciting media news!
