A lot of changes have happened at Disney World and will continue to occur but in the hustle and bustle of it all, we took a moment to check out one of the biggest changes — renovated rooms at Disney’s BoardWalk InnLet’s take a look!

Disney Vacation Planner

Located close to EPCOT, the BoardWalk Inn has undergone some lengthy construction as hotel refurbishment and new dining installations are still in the process. Still, the resort took a major step forward with the unveiling of newly renovated rooms and we’ve got the details!

Newly renovated room at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn

The room includes one King Bed or two Queen Beds and one Day Bed as well as a flat-panel T.V., hairdryer, coffee maker, telephone, in-room safe, beverage cooler, handheld steamer, and a patio or balcony.

Solid furniture provisions

The furniture options are pretty standard but welcome with a chair and couch bed.

Tea station and wardrobe

Near the door, you’ll find a pretty sizeable wardrobe with three mirrors and the typical hotel offerings such as garment care items and a safe. Attached, you’ll find the tea station equipped with a coffee machine and decorated with beautiful Mickey and Minnie art.

BoardWalk Inn room art

Speaking of art, this room has no shortage of pieces that remind you where you are. We saw some wall art of popular Disney characters strolling the BoardWalk!

Hanging wall art

With a more classic look, the art in the room provides a more elegant aura while still providing that Disney nostalgia.

We love the little details!

The room is also filled with neat little details here and there, such as Mickey outlines on the furniture and lamp.

Very cute!

The drapes even feature Mickey and Friends silhouettes!

Standard bathroom

Back to the nitty gritty, the bathrooms sport dual sinks and a large mirror, as well as a shower that doubles as a bathtub. The bathroom isn’t the largest but it gets the job done.

Love the view!

One of the best aspects of this room is the balcony space! Great for overlooking the resort at all times of the day (especially the sunset!), the balcony adds another relaxing element to this renovated room and elevates it from a standard hotel room to something more magical.

  1. We had a 2 night stay in one of the new rooms and it was fantastic! The room was huge compared to most of the DVC Studios, there was room for 6 people and the balcony was wonderful, with incredible views of The Boardwalk! The bathroom was well setup, and the shower well spaced. We will definitely stay there again!
