Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Is Reopening SOON at Disney World! ?

It’s January which officially means it is refurbishment season in Disney World.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster will be closed for months. Kali River Rapids has closed for some TLC. Even the Skyliner is closed for its annual maintenance. Luckily, some of these refurbishments were pretty short and one popular Disney World ride is reopening very soon!

The Wildest Ride in the Wilderness has been a little quiet recently due to a refurbishment. But on January 21st, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will reopen in Magic Kingdom!

Big Thunder often posts long wait times and draws lots of visitors each day. If you’re visiting the parks on or after January 21st, you don’t have to worry about missing it!

This isn’t the only change happening at Disney World this month! Country Bear Jamboree as we know it is set to close on January 27th, 2024 with the last operating day on January 26th. The show will be transformed with new outfits for the bears, new songs, and more!
