Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a popular park…and for good reason!

Where else can you fly the Millennium Falcon? Or what about shrinking down to the size of a toy? The park is jam-packed with popular attractions which can also bring some super long wait times. But during After Hours events, which have finally returned to Disney World, you can go on these rides without the wait!
After Hours events are back at Hollywood Studios on select nights from January 10th to April 10th. Ticket prices range from $155 to $175 depending on the date, and Disney Vacation Club Members/Annual Passholders can get tickets between $125 and $145.

The biggest reason we think it’s worth it to buy a ticket isn’t for the complimentary snacks — it’s for the shorter wait times! Especially in a park like Hollywood Studios, we think it’s a good use of your time. But just how low do the wait times get? Let’s find out together!

Here’s a look at the wait times from 7PM when we were able to enter the park. Regular park guests were still in the park at this time.

Several popular rides still had a decent wait time. That includes the meet and greet at Red Carpet Dreams!

The longest wait time was at Rise of the Resistance with 65 minutes.

Once the park closed at 9PM, we saw a big drop in the wait times. Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway was down to 20 minutes when we passed by!
One of the best things about Disney’s After Hours Events? The LOW wait times! 🙌🤩 pic.twitter.com/IPgv9UKcDo

At 9:30PM when After Hours officially began, the wait times were very low at most attractions.

The highest wait time at this point was Slinky Dog Dash which temporarily closed shortly after.

You’ll never guess how low the Rise of the Resistance wait was by 10:30PM — yes, it was down to just 10 minutes!

Unfortunately, Slinky Dog Dash was experiencing a temporary closure at the time. On the other hand, Alien Swirling Saucers, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and Star Tours were walk-ons.

Even Tower of Terror posted its famous 13-minute wait time! This means the ride currently has no wait.

11:30PM showed the same 5-minute wait for those rides.

The best update was that Slinky Dog Dash finally reopened! It had a posted 15-minute wait time but this could go up since it was closed for a while.

Disney After Hours events are also happening at Magic Kingdom (starting January 11th), and EPCOT (starting February 2nd). We’ll be at those events too, so keep following AllEars to see what those parks are like!
