If you plan on taking a cruise out of Port Canaveral soon, you’ll want to ensure you’ve packed a few extra things with you.

We help keep up with the latest trends, delays, cancellations, and general happenings that could cause things to go sideways even before you start your next vacation. This time, we’ve got a warning to give you before you head out for your next cruise adventure.
There’s so much excitement that goes into planning your cruise vacations that sometimes you’re just so ready to get started and on the ship that it’s hard to contain your excitement (and your patience), but if you’re cruising soon you’ll want to be certain you’ve packed plenty of it.

Port Canaveral recently posted on its social media sites a warning to travelers who will be cruising within the coming weeks that construction could slow their plans a bit. Ongoing construction is still active on the parking garage at the popular cruising port and Port Canaveral is asking all travelers to make certain they’re arriving on time (not early) as advised by their chosen cruising company, and reminding everyone that the parking garage does not even open until 10AM at earliest.
ATTENTION CRUISE GUESTS: Construction areas around cruise terminals may cause some traffic delays. Arriving cruise guests are reminded to adhere to the boarding time assigned by your cruise line. Please know that all terminal parking garages and surface lots do not open before 10… pic.twitter.com/3vmWhJVDNc
