6 Ridiculous (But Necessary) Bathroom Tips for Disney World

We spend a LOT of time in the Disney World parks, which means we know Disney World’s restrooms pretty well.

Honestly, it can be pretty essential to know which ones to avoid and which ones are the best. From new bathrooms to the 11 worst bathrooms at Disney World, we’ve covered a lot of ground. Now, we’re sharing our stories of what we do to go out of our way for a good bathroom.

1. If We are Anywhere in Magic Kingdom, We’re Going to THIS Bathroom

Alright, Magic Kingdom is crowded therefore the bathrooms at Magic Kingdom are crowded. However, if we are anywhere in the park, we’re heading straight to Tortuga’s Tavern for some peaceful restrooms.

Why are these bathrooms so peaceful? Well, hardly anyone knows about them. They are tucked inside of Tortuga Tavern and unless you know they are here, you aren’t likely to come across them as you’re strolling the park.

2. These EPCOT Bathrooms Have to Be the Most Peaceful

If we have to go to the restroom while we’re at the front of EPCOT, we’re going toward the Imagination Pavillion. These are all the way around the side of the pavilion.

Just like with the Tortuga ones, these aren’t very well known, and they are so off the main traveling path that most guests completely miss them.

3. We Have Left a Disney Park Just To Use The Bathroom

Speaking of EPCOT, there are a lot of restrooms throughout the World Showcase, but if it’s a busy festival day, we’re skipping the countries and heading straight for the exit.

The International Gateway exit that is. This is located between France and the UK pavilion, and it has a restroom just outside of the exit gate. As long as you have your park ticket with you, you’ll be able to re-enter with no problem.

4. We Choose Where To Eat With Restrooms in Mind

So when we’re in the parks, we also try to choose where to eat based on the restrooms. If we want a lot of privacy, we can try to grab a Space 220 reservation so we can go to the bathroom up in space — that’s pretty private.

For quick-service restaurants, think of ones with hidden bathrooms. For example, if you eat at La Cantina de San Angel at EPCOT, head to the indoor seating area to find access to bathrooms that almost no one will be at during lunchtime.

5. We’re Walking Right Past This Attraction Just for The Restroom

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, there is a bathroom that sits right next to an attraction but is not often crowded.

The restrooms to the left of Star Wars Launch Bay offer some great privacy, and even though it’s normally out of our way to go, we head there anyway.

6. We Take a WHOLE Train Ride to These Bathrooms

That’s right, some bathrooms are worth the wait. There are bathrooms at Rafiki’s Planet Watch at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and to get there, you have to take a train called the Wildlife Express.

This area is usually not crowded and there can be a lot of peaceful spots here. This means that the restrooms are usually pretty quiet and you can find the ultimate privacy here.
