NEWS: Several Upcoming Disney Movies DELAYED Due To Actors Strike

It’s been an interesting year for Hollywood and the film production industry.

The WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes have both been resolved now, but the impacts of the strike have caused many studios to adjust their upcoming schedules. Disney has recently announced more of its film release adjustments coming in 2024 and 2025. Let’s see what’s changed.

According to Deadline, the release dates for the following films have been affected due to the now-resolved strikes.

  • Deadpool 3 has moved from May 3rd, 2024 to July 26th, 2024
  • Captain America: Brave New World moved from July 26th, 2024 to February 14th, 2025
  • Blade moved from February 14th, 2025 to November 7th, 2024
  • Thunderbolts moved from December 20th, 2024 to July 25th, 2025

In non-Marvel news, Mufasa: The Lion King has also been moved from July 5th to December 20th, 2024, and Disney has also “scrubbed from the schedule two untitled movies on July 25, 2025, and November 7, 2025.”

And while Sony technically owns Marvel’s Spider-Man universe, it has also moved Venom: Let There Be Carnage from July 14th to November 8th, 2024. As of right now, those are the only changes that have been announced, so stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest news and updates!
