If you’ve ever visited Disney World, you might have noticed that there is a pretty popular spot in the Orlando area that locals and visitors alike head to for all of their coffee, late-night snacking, and gas-filling needs.

Sure, Wawa is a gas station, but that doesn’t stop it from being iconic. Sometimes, you can even spot some Disney snack dupes there, like a Cheddar Cheese Stuffed Pretzel that could give Disney’s version a run for its money. Do you miss Wawa when you head back home? Honestly, we get it. But soon, Wawa may be opening in an area near you!
This family-owned brand currently operates in six states and Washington, D.C., and soon it will be coming to Ohio. According to Wawa, the chain has plans to open approximately 60 stores across the region over the next 8-10 years, with groundbreaking starting in 2024.

The company already has 16 sites under contract across the following counties: Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Greene, Hamilton, Miami, Montgomery, and Warren. “We were thrilled to share our ‘flight plan’ for Ohio and reveal, for the very first time, our exciting expansion plans, renderings and more with our newest soon-to-be neighbors!” said Joe Collins, Director of Store Operations for Wawa.

He continued, “As we get closer to our grand openings in 2025, we will be sharing even more details on our growth in Ohio and connecting with more customers, communities, partners and nonprofit organizations that together make this such an incredible region to be a part of!”

Ten of these stores are slated to open in 2025, so keep an eye out for a Wawa near you! As always, stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest Disney news.

Have them here in Virginia for a while now. Absolutely used to love them. Unfortunately, they are like the local chain grocery stores. Now they have taken over the area, and there are no real other stations to choose from. A completete monopoly. Now we’re hoping for Sheetz to make it’s way to our part of Virginia since they top Wawa by a mile!
