2 Super Secret Tricks to Getting Cheaper Souvenirs in Disney World

It’s no secret that Disney World trips are expensive.

The tickets and hotel stays are expensive enough, but then you add food and souvenirs from the trip in and it just adds that many more dollar signs. But what if we told you there’s a cheaper way to get souvenirs from Disney?

Don’t despair at the high Disney World souvenir prices — there are two secrets we need to tell you about!

Character Warehouses

Located a short distance away from the parks, you’ll find Disney’s Character Warehouses. This is where Disney merchandise goes when it’s out of season.

That means this merchandise is sold at a MASSIVE discount! It’s a fantastic way to grab some of those more expensive souvenirs, like Dooney and Bourke bags and Spirit Jerseys, for much cheaper.

Now, you will have to take your own car or a rideshare over to these warehouses, as Disney transportation can’t take you there. There are two character warehouses, located at:

• 8200 Vineland Ave, Orlando, FL 32821 (close to Disney Springs)
• 4969 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819 (in Orlando Outlet Marketplace)

Keep in mind that these can be quite busy, so you may be facing some crowds!

Targets and Walmarts Close to Disney World

Large retail stores, most notably Target and Walmart, also sell Disney merchandise at much lower prices than the parks do.

There are a few of these stores located right around the parks, but since you will have to travel outside the Disney Bubble, you will also need to take a rideshare or your own car.

This is also a great way to stock up on some Disney toys to surprise your kids in the parks, to avoid being sucked into buying one of the more expensive toys in the park.
