Speaking of Southwest Airlines, some new benefits are finally starting to arrive — let’s take a look!

Recently, we shared Southwest’s big announcement that two new benefits were coming soon. Now, those benefits are LIVE and ready to go!

Southwest has added two new benefits to its fares. First, travelers can utilize free same-day standby with all fares. Look out for the new capability to list for standby online or in the Southwest app.

In the past, Rapid Rewards Tier Members and those traveling on Business Select, Anytime, and Wanna Get Away Plus fares had the ability to list on a different flight free of charge on their day of travel. But now, this new offering extends to ALL Southwest passengers.

Additionally, free inflight internet is now available for those who purchase a Business Select fare. (This benefit was previously reserved for A-List Preferred Customers) Travelers who purchase Business Select fares can now connect up to three devices per leg for FREE!
