Transportation

The number one perk that our readers said is worth staying at a Disney Resort for is the transportation!

Between the Disney buses, monorail, ferryboats, and walking paths, there are SO many different modes of transport to get yourself around the resort.

Many of our readers said they enjoy not having to drive while they’re on vacation if they don’t want to, thanks to all of Disney’s transportation. However, parking is also free at the parks for hotel guests, which makes traveling by car a lot easier as well.

Yes, we said the MAIN reason above, but there were a few other big perks our readers say make staying at a resort worth the money, and the other big one was the immersion!

Staying at a Disney World hotel means that you are immersed in the Disney bubble the whole time you’re on vacation, which is something many readers find priceless.

This means you’re not being plagued by the intrusions of the outside world, which is something many guests find to be one of the best parts about Disney, and staying inside the Disney bubble just heightens that.

Early Access

The last perk that our readers said is worth staying on property for is Early Access to the theme parks.

Hotel guests get early access to any Disney World hotel 30 minutes before the scheduled park opening every single day. While we do miss the original Extra Magic Hours perk that was in place before the COVID-19 closures, this is a perk that many guests are happy to have back at the hotels.

And if you’re staying at a deluxe resort, you get to stay in the park later on select nights via Extended Evening Hours.
