If you’re planning a trip to Disney World, at some point you’ll have to decide what to pack…and that means deciding what you’ll wear!

Magic Kingdom!

The weather plays a heavy influence on what you’ll pack for your trip, especially during the hot and humid summer season for Central Florida. As we start to head into the warmest part of the year, we’ve got some advice for which park bags will be the BEST!

Here at AllEars, we talk a lot about Disney style and the fashionable outfits you can wear to the parks…while still being comfortable (we have a whole section on our website about it!). But we also have opinions on Disney accessories!

As we head into April, there are some things you need to know about Disney World. First of all, we’re still in the middle of Spring Break season, so the parks will be crowded. This might affect your choice of bag in a couple ways — maybe you’ll pack light so you can weave in and out of the crowds easily or maybe you’ll want a big back stocked with snacks and drinks so you can avoid the lines for food and beverages.

Also, April is when we start to see warmer weather, and as the month goes on, we’ll reach hurricane season. This means that if you’re visiting soon, you might want to be prepared with some rain gear! It can also still be a little chilly in the morning and at night, so you might need space in your bag for a backup jacket.

So what do we recommend? Let’s dive in!

For the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival

Until July 5th, we’ll be celebrating the International Flower & Garden Festival at EPCOT, and it’s a great excuse to get a bag to match. We have several spring-inspired character designs that we’ve found, including this adorable Winnie the Pooh Loungefly or the Alice in Wonderland Floral Backpack.

And if you want something a little different than a traditional backpack, we have options for that as well! We’ve got a Petunia Pickle Bottom Criss-Cross Sling Bag with a Snow White pattern that’s perfect for when you want to go one-shouldered. For a small bag, there’s even this Loungefly Mulan Crossbody Purse.

These are great bag options for a stroll around the World Showcase in the spring!

Emma’s Picks

But if you’re visiting this spring and summer, you might want to get some wardrobe advice from our theme park experts! Emma is a big fan of dressing cool in a tank top and biker shorts, but her go-to bag is a fanny pack.

With a fanny pack, you’ll be traveling light and you won’t have to worry about the weight of a heavy bag all day. As long as you’ve got your basics (like sunglasses and a phone charger) in there, you should be good to go! Just don’t forget to stop and hydrate throughout the day.

Quincy’s Picks

On the other hand, Quincy is a fan of carrying a sling backpack. These typically encourage lighter packing as well, though you can fit more items than just a fanny pack can. Quincy’s a firm believer in packing a water bottle in your bag!

Sling backpacks may not be for everyone because of their design and the way they hang on one shoulder, but they’re a fun way to mix up your look and get a completely different aesthetic for your park day.
