You Have to See the Christmas Eve Crowds to Believe Them in Disney World

It’s Christmas Eve!

Christmas is almost here!

Time is running out to grab those holiday snacks, experience the holiday ride overlays, and experience EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays. Christmas Eve can be such a joyous day in the parks, but it also means LOTS of crowds. Come with us to see how the parks look on this holiday!

We hopped on the monorail this morning to head over to Magic Kingdom to get this holiday started!

Crowds were heavy at Magic Kingdom’s entrance to get in. Everyone was all bundled up and braving the cold weather to enjoy their day!

Once inside the front gate this morning, crowds seemed pretty light…

A look at the crowds from above

…but that’s because everyone was already rushing down Main Street, U.S.A. to get to their first rides of the day! Still crowds were quite calm for it being Christmas Eve morning.

Adventureland was looking rather empty.

As was Tomorrowland…

…and Fantasyland!

Fantasyland crowds are low too!

Around 10AM, crowds started to pick up a bit around Cinderella Castle and have stayed pretty busy since.

SO many people

From what we’re seeing so far, Main Street U.S.A. seems to be the busiest area in all of Magic Kingdom so far.

Main Street is definitely the busiest place

Overall the crowds are quite light for a major holiday in Disney World. It is important to note that it is VERY cold today — about 36 degrees. So this could factor into the crowds being a bit lighter. We will continue to update this post today to give you more info on the crowd situation in Disney World.
