Discounts and Ticket Deal For Military Members Announced by Universal Orlando

If you’ll be heading to Universal Orlando Resort, you might be looking for special discounts to help you save money while there.

You could save money by staying at Universal’s cheapest hotel or watching out for deals, but now Universal has shared some details about deals that are available exclusively to veterans.

Universal Orlando has announced that as a “thank you for their service to our country,” active duty and retired military can get the 2023 Military Freedom Pass as well as some other discounts. Let’s go through these deals.

Military Freedom Pass

This pass was introduced back in 2021. Military personnel and their families can buy this pass and visit Universal Orlando Resort from November 10th, 2022 through December 24th, 2023 with limited blockout dates.

There is a 2-Park 2023 Military Freedom Pass available (for those eligible) for $199.99 per adult. The pass gives you access to Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure.

To upgrade, military personnel and their families can pay an additional $35 to get the 3-Park 2023 Military Freedom Pass. That pass includes access to the Volcano Bay water theme park.

Military personnel and their families can buy the 2023 Military Freedom Pass now. Blockout dates are December 26th, 2022 through January 1st, 2023, and April 3rd through 9th, 2023.

To buy them, you’ll need to go to a participating sales outlet on a Military Base installation throughout the U.S. Note that these are NOT available at the Universal Orlando Front Gate.

Military Vacation Packages

Members of the military and their families can also book special Military vacation packages. There are two options available — the Military Create Your Own Vacation Package and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Exclusive Military Vacation Package. Both of these packages come “complete with the Military Freedom Pass.”

For the Create Your Own Vacation Package you’ll get a hotel stay at any Universal Orlando Hotel, along with Early Park Admission (for select rides).

With the Wizarding World package, you’ll get a hotel stay at any Universal Orlando hotel, along with:

a Special Themed Keepsake Box
breakfast at the Leaky Cauldron and The Three Broomsticks
one Shutterbutton’s Photography Studio session

And finally, military members and their families can SAVE on Universal Orlando Resort trips by staying at a Universal Orlando hotel. Military members and their families can get discounts on Universal Orlando hotels in amounts up to 40% off of a room rate at Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort.
