McDonald's Halloween Happy Meals Are BACK!

Craving McDonald’s? Love Halloween? Just want an excuse to eat out tonight instead of cooking that chicken you’ve had sitting in your fridge? Well…you’re in the right place!

McDonald’s has released all kinds of cool Happy Meal toys lately, including a Happy Meal for adults, Happy Meal toys themed to Cars on the Road, and more. But now an ICONIC Happy Meal is BACK just in time for spooky season!

The iconic Halloween Happy Meal pails are BACK! That’s right, it’s time to feel nostalgic (and get a quick dinner or lunch!).

The Happy Meal comes with one of three pails — a pumpkin, witch, or ghost!

Once you’ve ordered your Happy Meal (generally a Hamburger or Chicken McNuggets), you’ll grab your bucket and get to enjoy all the Halloween fun. We stopped by the McDonald’s on Disney World property and grabbed one to see what they were like!

We got the pumpkin design, which features a spookier face on one side…

…and a happier face on the other!

On the side, it has a little detail about how it is the McPunk’n.

On the top, there is a little plastic piece that sort of looks like a lid, but note that it is not actually a full lid.

It sort of gives the effect of a lid when placed in the right spot, but in reality, this beauty doesn’t have a full plastic lid.

Instead, when served, it comes with a little sticker page on top, serving as the pseudo lid until you take it off.

That little cover has some fall stickers on it, which you can then use for the activity on the back.

On the back, there are some skeletons, which you can dress up with the stickers to get them ready for some trick-or-treating!

Overall, it’s a fun little souvenir that can be great for kiddos and kids at heart craving McNuggets with a side of nostalgia.

The pail can then be used for actual trick-or-treating for little ones, or to hold candy, popcorn, etc. at home!

Keep in mind that these are only available at participating McDonald’s locations for a limited time, so availability can vary. Be sure to check your local McDonald’s and see if they have them. And act fast — these could sell out, so you’ll want to go to McDonald’s soon to give yourself the best chance to bring one home.
