McDonald's Teases NEW Happy Meal Toys and We Don't Know How to Feel

With a highly anticipated blockbuster movie coming out next month, McDonald’s clearly didn’t want to miss out on the fun! Take a look at the toys McDonald’s will be releasing with Happy Meals soon. Yeah…I guess McDonald’s is doing teasers now.

We’re sure everyone is well aware of the upcoming Minecraft movie, based on the very popular video game. The movie is releasing to theatres on April 4th, and it’s bound to be a box office success with the amount of fans the beloved game has! Well McDonald’s wants to hop on the trend, and they’ve been crafting together new Happy Meal toys.

Here’s a first glance at some of the toys. We get there are Creepers in Minecraft, but did all the toys have to look a little creepy? It looks like there will be a couple of toy options available with your Happy Meal — a Creeper, a wolf, a skeleton, and a bee. They even have their own Minecraft blocks to stand on. We’re not sure if we want the wolf staring at us like that, while we bite down on our cheeseburger though.

It looks like some other toys we’ll be getting are Minecraft versions of classic McDonald’s characters and food! We’re fans of the way these ones look more than the other ones.

These will debut on April 1st alongside a fun meal collaboration! McDonald’s revealed, “A Minecraft Movie Meal stars one of six collectibles inspired by some of McDonald’s most beloved characters and menu items, and popular A Minecraft Movie treasures.” Every collectible comes with a matching card and a code where you can unlock the corresponding, exclusive skin in the Minecraft Marketplace. Here’s the full list:

Big Mac Crystal – Mined from the sea of special sauce, this precious block derives its radiant shine from melty cheese and a toasty sesame seed bun.
Birdie Wings – Keep your eye to the sky or you might miss the early bird soaring high above the clouds with a rare pair of elytra wings.
Fry Helmet – Forged from the iconic French Fry box, this enchanted helmet is rumored to protect you from friends stealing your last Fry.
Grimace Egg – Emerging from the depths of a purple shake, this magical Grimace mob gets its shape from the most coveted egg of them all.
Soda Potion – The electrifying effect of this potion is as mysterious as its recipe: an accidental combo of fantastic fizzy flavors.
Zombie Hamburglar – Little is known about this hungry mob who spawns late at night and wanders all biomes in search of hamburgers.
